GOLDENPIG | The "SHI-YU" Marble Platter
A Stage of Hualien Stone, A Symphony of Taiwanese Craft.
The"SHI-YU" Platter, meticulously crafted by "GOLDENPIG", is a bespoke stage designed specifically for our signature Golden Pig collection. More than just a vessel, it is a narrative of Taiwan’s majestic mountains and pinnacle craftsmanship.
Designed in Taiwan: Utilizing a minimalist design language to transform the inherent weight of raw stone into the "Yu" (Imperial) elegance and prestige.
Sourced in Taiwan: Exclusively selecting natural stone from Hualien, Taiwan—preserving the unique textures sculpted by nature over tens of thousands of years.
Produced in Taiwan: Partnering with local master stonecutters whose decades of expertise infuse the cool, solid marble with the warmth of artisanal touch through precision grinding and polishing.
The Signature Collection: "Golden Pigs Gracing the Imperial Platter"
The "SHI-YU" Platter was born to complete a perfect visual feast. Its true essence is revealed when paired with our "GOLDENPIG THREE, GOLDENPIG FIVE, and GOLDENPIG EIGHT" series, creating the ultimate ensemble: "Big Pigs, Small Pigs, Falling onto the Imperial Platter."
This name is a playful and elegant homphonic pun on the famous line from Bai Juyi’s Tang Dynasty poem, The Song of the Pipa: "Like big pearls and small pearls falling onto a jade plate"(大珠小珠落玉盤), originally describing the crisp, melodic sounds of music.
Cultural Resonance: We have transformed the poetic beauty of "rhythmic scattering" into a physical centerpiece for your space.
Visual Layers: The various sizes of the Golden Pigs contrast beautifully with the steady, rustic elegance of the platter, symbolizing the auspicious abundance of "Wealth and Prosperity Filling the Tray."
The "SHI-YU" Platter does more than hold objects; it carries the grandeur of Taiwan’s landscape and the pride of its local craft.
